Current Research

Dr. Rodrigo Braga is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology. Dr. Braga studies large-scale networks within association zones of the human brain that greatly expanded in recent evolution. Studying their functional properties and organization can help us understand human cognitive faculties, such as our ability to think about the future and use language for effective communication. The Braga Lab uses a combination of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and intracranial recordings (iEEG/ECOG) to characterize the dynamic activity of these networks within individuals at high-resolution.

Please see the Braga Lab website (bragalab.com) for additional information on research projects and available positions.
